The objective of the Spanish Heart Foundation (FEC) is to raise awareness about the importance of preventing heart disease through health education. Another objective is to promote and support the development of cardiovascular research in Spain. To qualify for this label, products must meet the health criteria promoted by the FEC. This table is drawn up following the guidelines of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on Nutrition and Health Claims made on foods (entry into force in July 2007).
